Journalist Jane Mayer exposed the role Jeppesen International Trip Planning, a subsidiary of Boeing, played in CIA rendition flights. The American Civil Liberties Union led a court case against Jeppesen for its involvement in rendition flights, but a federal judge dismissed the case on February 13, 2008 on grounds that “state secrets” were at risk. The ACLU may appeal this decision.
